Social Impact
GAIA is built with purpose from the ground up.
We’re starting with a mobile coffee truck, connecting with people face to face, building the brand in the real world, and doing things properly from day one.
From launch, we’ll reinvest 5% of revenue into grassroots projects across East London, supporting communities in Tower Hamlets, Poplar, and the Isle of Dogs.
But impact for us isn’t just local.
We think about the journey from the coffee bean to the final cup. This means building relationships with producers who are treated fairly, while also reinvesting into the communities we serve here in London.
It’s a double impact model. We support both origin and local communities, making sure every cup contributes to something bigger.
We’re also working closely with the East End Community Foundation to stay connected to where support is genuinely needed, ensuring everything we contribute has real impact.
As GAIA grows, so will our impact. We’ll share regular updates on where contributions go, what they support, and how the community benefits.

Our Coffee
It starts with care.
From the beginning, we knew this had to be done properly, taking the time to understand the beans, the quality, and where everything comes from.
We’re working closely with Specialty Cafetiere, an independent East London roaster, collaborating directly to learn the craft and build something that reflects what GAIA stands for. It’s hands-on. We’re involved in the process, understanding the origin, the roasting, and what makes each coffee different. This isn’t about just serving coffee. It’s about doing it right.
Over time, this will evolve into something of our own, developing GAIA coffee beans shaped by everything we’re learning and building from the ground up.Every cup is considered.

Meet the Growers
Coffee doesn’t start with us.
Through our collaboration with our roaster, we’re connected to the people and places behind each coffee, from Kenya to Ethiopia to Brazil and beyond. Real time is spent understanding origin, how different regions, farms, and processes shape the flavour of each bean. That means we’re not just serving coffee.
We’re learning it properly, understanding what makes each one distinct, and the work behind it. We’re still building these connections ourselves, but that knowledge and care is a big part of what GAIA is built on.
Better relationships make better coffee and a more meaningful impact along the way.

Ethical Sourcing
Ethical sourcing is at the core of GAIA. We’re building with care from the start, working with trusted partners and future collaborators who share our values around quality and transparency.
As we prepare to launch, we’re focused on creating relationships that support fair and transparent trading, responsible farming practices, environmental sustainability, and long-term community investment.
How we source matters.
Through our collaboration with our roaster, we focus on working with producers who care about their craft and are treated fairly for the work they do. It’s about building long-term relationships, understanding where the coffee comes from and the people behind it, not just buying beans.
We’re still learning and developing this side of GAIA, but doing things properly from the start is important to us. For us, quality and responsibility go hand in hand.
