GAIA was created to use specialty coffee to create opportunities within the communities we're part of. We're building more than a specialty coffee brand.
We're building a business designed to create lasting value bringing people together, creating opportunities and investing back into the communities we serve.
Our journey starts with one coffee truck. Working alongside local charities and community organisations, we'll begin by offering free barista training, practical work experience and pathways into employment for people facing barriers to work. We believe lasting impact is built over time.
As GAIA grows, so will our ability to expand these opportunities through our Community Interest Company (CIC), creating stronger partnerships and supporting more people into skills, confidence and employment.From launch, we'll reinvest 5% of our profits into local grassroots organisations, beginning in Tower Hamlets and Hackney. As the business grows, we'll continue investing in projects that strengthen the communities we're proud to be part of.
For us, responsibility extends beyond the cup. We believe great coffee begins with responsible sourcing, long-term relationships and recognising the people behind every stage of the journey - from farm to community.
